Film Review : St. Vincent

It’s a familiar story. Young boy (Oliver) meets an old guy (Vincent) who seems mean and grumpy. They spend some time together getting up to the usual antics that come with these kind of storylines (Oliver’s mom, Maggie, works a lot). By the end, we realise (spoiler!) that Vincent is actually quite a good person beneath it all. All it took was him spending some time with the nine year old next door for everyone to see that.

This would probably have been just an ok film, but with Bill Murray, it’s kind of hard not to love it. Because who doesn’t love Bill Murray? Go see it for him alone. Especially his dance moves.

Can Bill Murray just be in every film?
